La relación entre la literatura y el diseño no es frecuente, parecen ser dos sistemas simbólicos que corren por caminos distintos. Pero cuando vemos que la narrativa establece los lugares desde los que podemos pensar nuestra realidad, dotándonos de una mirada audaz sobre lo que nos sucede, y dándole además una dimensión plástica a las expresiones, vemos que la confluencia entre esas disciplinas es posible.
Este libro se propone explorar ese vínculo a partir de la obra de dos autores singularísimos que han sido claves para México y para Brasil, Juan Rulfo y João Guimarães Rosa, cuya literatura ha sido especialmente significativa para quienes emprendimos este trabajo colaborativo de investigación desde nuestros distintos ámbitos de estudio.
